Current ELM Roster

ELM continues to maintain a roster for those who need credentialing from ELM.  Some examples of people who will remain on the ELM roster are those serving outside the geographical region of the ELCA, those not transferring to the ELCA roster, and those in transition from ELM to another roster.

Since it began in 1993, the ELM roster provided credentialing for publicly-identified LGBTQ pastors and rostered lay leaders who were in principled non-compliance with the ELCA’s policy requiring celibacy for gay and lesbian rostered leaders.   Many members of the ELM roster are seeking to or have joined the ELCA roster since the 2009 policy change.
