While not a Pastor, but a Church musician, there were many times when I wanted to pack it in and just give up on Church. I always held out in the hope that this day would finally come. It finally has. Hallelujah ! Being in the LCMS, I sat through many sermons where people like myself were referred to as "sons and daughters of satan". I had to keep a low profile in order to keep my job. It was very disheartening and disturbing to say the least. I knew the truth, but many of these Pastors kept painting us as the scum of the earth. I have to say that I know play at a church (LCMS), where the Pastor is an enlightened guy and doesn't even touch on the subject. Thanks be to God and this organization that has allowed us to come so far. (In my lifetime,yet). What a wonderful interview !
